Privacy Policy & Terms of Service

AeroLink is a product of Big Sky Dynamics (“we,” “us,” “our”). We build paramotor engine monitoring hardware and companion software including the AeroLink mobile app, web dashboard, and firmware.

• Account information — email address and authentication credentials when you create an account (via Google, Apple, or email/password through Firebase Authentication).
• Engine telemetry — RPM, EGT, CHT, fuel level, altitude, and other sensor readings transmitted from your AeroLink hardware via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
• Flight logs — timestamped recordings of engine data captured during flights, stored locally on your device and optionally synced to the cloud.
• Device configuration — hub settings, gauge preferences, engine profile selections, and maintenance records.
• Device sensors — barometric pressure, GPS location, and accelerometer data from your phone when the corresponding gauges are enabled.

• Display real-time engine parameters and flight instruments.
• Record and play back flight logs for post-flight review.
• Sync your data across devices when you sign in (optional).
• Track engine hours and maintenance schedules.
• Improve our products and diagnose technical issues.

AeroLink is designed offline-first. All core features — live telemetry, flight recording, engine profiles, and maintenance tracking — work entirely on your device without an internet connection or account. Cloud sync is optional and requires explicit sign-in.

• Firebase (Google) — authentication, cloud database (Firestore), and web hosting. Subject to Google's Terms of Service.
• Google Analytics — anonymous usage analytics on the marketing website only. No analytics are collected within the mobile app.
• Resend — transactional email delivery for waitlist confirmations and account notifications.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Bluetooth Low Energy communication between the AeroLink hardware and your phone occurs directly over a local wireless link. Telemetry data is not transmitted over the internet unless you enable cloud sync. Phone sensor data (GPS, barometer) is processed locally and included in flight logs only when the corresponding gauges are enabled.

Local data is stored on your device and can be deleted at any time through the app (Settings > Data Management). If you have cloud sync enabled, you can request deletion of your cloud data by contacting us. Deleting your account removes all associated cloud data.

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), Firebase security rules, and secure authentication flows. BLE connections use the standard Bluetooth security model. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

• You may use AeroLink products for lawful personal and recreational paramotor monitoring purposes.
• You are responsible for maintaining your aircraft and engine in accordance with manufacturer specifications. AeroLink is a monitoring tool, not a substitute for proper maintenance and pre-flight inspection.
• You agree not to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or misuse the hardware, firmware, or software beyond normal use and user-configurable settings.
• We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

AeroLink products are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Engine monitoring data is provided for informational purposes only.

AeroLink is not a certified aviation instrument. Do not rely solely on AeroLink data for flight-critical decisions. Always follow your engine manufacturer's operating guidelines and perform proper pre-flight inspections.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Big Sky Dynamics shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use or inability to use our products, including but not limited to equipment damage, personal injury, or data loss.
